My Harvey Nichols experience

Tuesday, 25 February 2014

Today I had a lovely trip to Knightsbridge. I absolutely love our big department stores in London: Selfridges, Harrods and Harvey Nichols always feel incredibly special and such a treat. Especially when you're buying luxury makeup items which are the same price everywhere, so why not have an extra enjoyable experience whilst doing so!

The selection of brands in Harvey Nichols is so fantastic it really is so easy to slip in to a beauty product heaven and just float around in a daze picking up an endless array of amazing items. However, today I was quite well behaved when it came to cosmetics and only brought products which had been on my wish list! I was supposed to be focusing on getting my Spring wardrobe together - Tip: there is the most wonderful Topshop opposite Harrods which feels like a selection of their best items, I always seem to come away with the most amazing pieces from there! I'm still trying to find out the best way to photograph clothes so you're going to have to bare with me on that one I'm afraid...

Here are the makeup items I purchased:

Is there anything more attractive than a fresh lipstick? One of my favourite things! I had to get the Mac Creme Cup lipstick, which I have been wanting for so long. It's a lovely deep pink sort of nude colour, nice and low key and crucially different to what I already have! I also purchased the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation which I have heard SO many wonderful things about. The product which I applied to my hand in order to test has blended in so deliciously and really does feel like silk.

I am so excited to try these items!

What is on your February wish list?

X Emma
