Clarins is such a high quality brand, it can be a bit daunting to go up to the counter and decide what products to go for! So here are my top 3 Clarins treats:
Firstly, for dehydrated skin, the Blue Orchid Face Treatment oil. The most recent trend in skincare has been facial oils...well Clarins have been well ahead of this, starting to sell 100% natural oils in 1954! Blue orchid is absolutely delicious smelling, an insider tip is to dab a bit of this on to a cotton wool pad and put it on top of your radiator and your whole room should smell of this beautiful scent! It is 100% plant extracts and will leave your skin feeling silky smooth, hydrate your skin and leave it glowing! A big claim I know but it really does re balance your skin. The fact that you know there is nothing nasty going in to your skin as it is all natural is always a bonus too. Although the price can be seen as a drawback for some ( £30 ) a little bit goes a long way and you are paying for quality. (please note that my picture is a salon size bottle)
If you're suffering from blemishes, oiliness or redness the pure and radiant mask is the perfect treatment for you! (please note again this is a salon sized bottle in my picture) The fact that Clarins has no alcohol in any of their products is such a bonus as they aren't harsh or drying. This mask is ideal as it detoxifies your pores without leaving your skin with that tight overly cleansed feeling. The pink clay ingredient in this lovely mask really brightens your skin too!
In winter (or year round for some of us) our skin can feel particularly tight, dehydrated or just a bit dull looking. This can be due to a number of factors, the dreadful weather being one of them! High central heating, low humidity and lots of wind does not make skin very happy. But hurrah! Clarins have the lovely Hydraquench "mask" treatment that can help remedy this. I say mask lightly as it is not a typical mask that you wash off, more of a treatment type of cream. This really gives your skin a drink thanks to the natural product of katafray. You simply apply this lovely cream all over your face and leave it for 5-10 minutes then you can wipe off excess with either a plain cotton wool pad or your toner too.
Thanks so much for reading my blog! What are your favourite skin "treats" ? ( any brand haha! )
