This morning I was lucky enough to receive some amazing presents from a loved one who has just got back from America. They are all items I have been desperate to try. The fantastic news is that now Sephora delivers to the UK, so you can get try these products too without having to go a couple of thousand miles on a plane!
The Anastasia Brow Wiz Skinny Brow Pencil, in Ash Blonde - I first heard about the Anastasia brand years ago when I was reading up on Kim Kardashian's beauty tips. She was saying how visiting Anastasia's salon completely revolutionised the way she did her eyebrows. Years later Anastasia has become a huge brand. I've heard so many amazing things about the brow gel in particular, but seeing as I don't like filling in my eyebrows too much, the pencil is the perfect fit for me. I can not wait to try this product and I will definitely post a review once I have! You can see Kim's opinion on Anastasia products here
L'oreal Revitalift Miracle Blur - This product is described as a "instant skin smoother finishing cream" so I am going to use it as a sort of primer to prep my skin before makeup, not instead of my usual moisturiser. It says it is "the 30 second miracle" which instantly erases the look of wrinkles, lines and pores. Big claims! so I will be especially interested to see how this product lives up to expectations. This was brought in Walgreens, the equivalent of Boots over here, so I will do some research as to whether it is stocked here.
Nars Highlighting Blush Powder in Albatross - Technically this is not the first time I am purchasing this product as I have a mini version in my Nars Guy Bourdin palette. It is an absolutely divine product and really deserves all the hype surrounding it. It gives a natural looking highlight with a hit of shimmer, which really helps to: a) highlight your cheekbones and b) give your skin a wonderful healthy glow. A staple product, which is perfect for all skin tones.
Eos Medicated Lip Balm in Tangerine - Ah, good old eos lip balms. You can't go wrong with one of these really, I have never tried this flavour but it sounds absolutely delicious. I am curious about the "medicated" aspect of this particular balm though. It says "This daily use lip balm provides medicated relief and helps prevent bacterial contamination on your lips" Hm! Interesting. Again I will let you know how I get on :)
