Josh Wood // Blonde Glossing Mask - Glossing is a much neglected term when it comes to blondes. Most hairdressers only offer glossing treatments for brunettes and it seems any permutation of glossing masks fail to produce results. But Josh Wood, who is responsible for Elle Macpherson and Kylie's glorious manes has successfully created the ultimate SOS mask for damaged, lack lustre blonde hair that is in need of a boost. My hair feels silky smooth, the colour is noticeably more vibrant and crucially it leaves no heavy residue. Even better is that the mask is an absolute bargain, £12.50 for a large tub from Marks & Spencer. P.S. Fear not darker haired ladies, there are also glossing masks specially designed for brown or black hair and rumour has it that Michelle Keegan is a fan!
Vichy // Idealia Eyes* - I've tried to introduce eye creams in to my skin care routine before and often their over rich formulas actually made my eye area more puffy..not ideal. But Idealia Eyes is the perfect hybrid of being effective but not overly thick and overwhelming for the sensitive eye area. It contains caffeine to actively de puff, alongside Vichy Thermal Spa Water to help smooth and soothe. Leaving my eyes with an almost airbrushed appearance! This is the perfect starter eye cream, a great tip to help reduce dark circles is to gently tap in your eye cream with your ring finger to break up toxins and help your cream absorb without irritating and causing puff.
Mac Eyeshadow // All That Glitters - I am pretty sure this is the first Mac product I ever purchased and is partially to blame for getting me hooked on makeup! It is a classic cult buy and flatters literally every eye colour under the sun. It's subtle shimmer gives the illusion of your eyes appear more awake and bright, making it particularly useful to sweep on in a rush during your morning commute (guilty.) Or to create an easy bronze smokey eye before an evening out. This is a failsafe everyday eyeshadow and I am so glad I rediscovered it hidden away in my makeup stash.
Roger & Gallet // Fleur De Figuier Ultra Nourishing Oil* - This is the ultimate pick me up, feel good, indulgent treat, perfect to smooth on after a hot bubble bath. The indulgent scent is an instant mood booster alone but what makes this oil so special is its formula. The Fleur De Figuier oil has the perfect balance of being super hydrating but not oily. Your legs are left with a Victorias Secret-esque glow but without the stickiness, instead a silky smooth sheen and gentle luxurious scent.
L'Oréal // Infallible Foundation - Although I can't comment on the 24 hours staying power that it claims (really does anyone wear foundation for 24 hours?) I can say that this is the perfect "long day" foundation, you know the days where you are running around from place to place with a limited makeup bag but still need to look fresh. A quick swoop of my Nars transclucent powder is all that is needed to keep this foundation firmly in place throughout very long days and evenings. Although it gives seriously full, full, full coverage, it does not feel mask like or cakey. It is ideal for long days and is an absolute steal at £10!
