House of Fraser SS15 Preview

Sunday, 16 November 2014

House of Fraser is my absolute favourite when it comes to stress free shopping trips, especially around Christmas. The novelty of being able to glide from brand to brand, picking up every item from a daunting shopping list, without even having to venture out of the store to wrestle with the ridiculous Christmas crowds, is one that will never wear off for me!

So when an invite to the House of Fraser SS15 preview popped in to my inbox, I was so excited. Blue skies, sunshine and icy cocktails are all in the not too distant future! Being able to sneak a peak at what will be appearing in House of Fraser next year, in their swanky showroom, whilst sipping on delicious elderflower treats, definitely brightened a typically grey and dull London day!

Here are my favourite pretty picks:

I am a handbag addict, constantly on the search for the next best accessory to carry my endless supply of everyday "necessities." While the Lulu Guinness Lipstick clutch may be a bit different from the Mary Poppins-esque extra extra extra large bags I tend to favour carrying around. The ultra girly design and general "fun-ness" (new word alert!) of the design would be incentive enough to de-clutter my handbag and scale down to a chic clutch.

These Polo Ralph Lauren jeans are a different take on the usual boyfriend style. They would be perfect teamed with either a classic white t-shirt and converse for a casual day look. Or even dressed up with a white shirt, nude court shoe and plenty of jewellery for the evening. I am in complete jean heaven and can not wait for them to land in store!

Ahh pastel perfection..if there is a colour palette that could conjure up pictures of sunny days and ice cream it is this one. These Michael Kors, Therapy and Moschino picks are such an easy way to inject sunshine in to your day.

My favourite is the Moschino cross body, it so dainty and pretty but the patent finish gives a modern feel. The cross body style is the perfect evening bag. You can easily have the chain over your shoulder for ease of h'ors d'oeuvre nibbling and cocktail holding. Or if that is too cumbersome I tend to wrap the chain once inside of the bag to shorten it in to a hand held clutch.

P.s. The green Therapy, cross body bow bag is only £25 how amazing is that?!

Those are my pretty picks of the SS15 House of Fraser Preview! I will be heading over to the House of Fraser in Westfield this week to continue my search for the perfect winter boot. Don't forget to follow my instagram to stay updated!

You can shop House of Fraser here and it seems they have an epic sale running at the moment!
