Treat yourself with Blossoming Gifts

Sunday, 4 October 2015

Time is so precious. Cliche but true! These past couple of months have been a complete whirlwind with barely time to take a breath. Living in a fast paced city trying to juggle multiple responsibilities is pretty challenging. And sometimes something has to give, most often than not that thing tends to be that cliched phrase "me time."

You can understand how thrilled I was to receive this flower delivery from Blossoming Gifts! It was exactly what I needed.

Summer Beauty Surprises with Espa

Thursday, 23 July 2015

I absolutely love love love nice surprises!

There is nothing better than receiving a present in the post - (usually they are a consequence of my online shopping habit...and from myself)

So it was extra specially amazing to receive this beautiful box on my doorstep on a dull wednesday morning! It felt like an early birthday present (the 6th of August in case you were wondering) and certainly brightened up my day :)

Princess Hair on a High Street Budget | Rush Twickenham

Tuesday, 16 June 2015

Hello everyone!

I apologise for the delay in posting this, but the combination of travelling across California, shocking wifi and laptop issues has meant that I've been desperate to share this post with you guys! On top of this I'm very excited to announce that I have a new job!! I'm beyond thrilled and so excited to start especially as I will be working for a really well respected and rapidly growing company...the brand is also at the top of many beauty bloggers love lists so I'll be sure to keep you updated.

But anyway back to today's post, it's all about how to achieve Princess hair on a high street budget!

The Rush brand is a firm fixture of many a high street in the UK but how many of us have ever ventured in? When I was invited to the Rush Twickenham launch I was seriously impressed with the quality of the products used and the end result. I left with my cheeks hurting from smiling and laughing with the super skilled stylists which is always a good sign!

Battle of the Balms | Round 1 | Clarins Pure Melt Cleansing Gel

Monday, 11 May 2015

I'm the type of person where when I like something I really like it. Insert listening to my favourite song hundreds of times until I get sick of it/binge watching an entire series of a tv show etcetera. etcetera. However, my love affair with skin care (in particular balms) is never this series I'm going to share with you guys my top balms that are all beautifully decadent in their own way.

LA Confidential | OOTD & Message To You!

Thursday, 1 January 2015

I want to start this post by saying such a huge thanks! My lovely readers, thanks to you guys during 2014 I achieved things I didn't even dream were possible, made some lifelong friends (Kenzie, Lauren, Josie, Anouska, Lucy, Sinéad and Catherine I'm looking at you in particular) and most of all..I've had so much fun!! Writing, photographing, learning about fashion/beauty, attending events and meeting new people are all things I seriously enjoy, and thanks to you my 2014 was filled with so many amazing memories that I will cherish forever. So thank you for being warm, welcoming, kind, friendly and encouraging!

Now enough of the gushing! For the "holidays" (as they like to call them in America) we hopped across the pond to spend Christmas abroad. This is something I would seriously recommend doing, or even going to a restaurant for Christmas lunch. It takes out so many of the boring bits of Christmas (washing up, stressing about cooking etc.) and allows you to really spend "quality time" (cheesy but true) with your loved ones.
